Vienna Here I Come!

When we were in Vienna, I went to this cool catholic church, that was really old. We took mass there. Can you believe it? It's in the the center of Vienna! It's name is St Stephen's. It was very beautiful inside. Also, it was very tall. It was half black, because it was sooooooo ancient. It was delighting to take mass in it.

We were also in this museum, were we got to see Monet and Picasso's paintings. I really love Claude Monet's choice of colour and style. I did not  understand or really like Picasso's paintings. Also, in Marc Chagall's paintings, I noticed a goat in almost every painting. Maybe he spent his life with goats? Maybe his favorite animal was a goat? Who knows, only Marc does...

Well, I recommend you to go to Vienna if you like ancient places!

Baby Swallows in a Nest

In one of my family member's stable, (in the countryside) a bunch of little swallows were born! They were SO cute! Let's make them famous by watching this video.

Archie

Archie is a dog that lives in the country.

If you look at him at first, you'll think that he's just a cute little puppy that would never ever bite or rip a boot. But that's what he looks like when he is in his tiny "room" or yard. When he is out of his yard he like a madman or maniac!!🤪

He runs around everywhere in sight with his favourite boot (which he proudly destroyed himself)!

Here's a video of "Archie the Maniac":

Now Archie is punished, so now he actually is a miserable tiny dog I feel so bad for him...

Hi! On June 21, I am leaving to Ukraine to see my relatives! I am going to see TONS of different things - animals, places - you name it! So that means, that I will have plenty of things to write on my blog. I will be traveling through a place in Germany - so I can post a few things there. Also, on the way back, we will be staying at the Austria airport for 2 days in a hotel!!

LIttle Ones Are Welcome

Right beside my house, a pair of robin hatchlings was welcomed to the world! Aren't they so funny?

They are SO cute! I saw their mother feeding them. They chirped a lot!

I bet the little ones are looking out to see the world 'bird's eye view'!

I Went to the BMO Field!

On Friday May 25, I went to the BMO Field to watch the game of TFC ( Toronto soccer club) against Dallas. I was so excited! I took a  video of the soccer game.

The video was shaky because everyone was stomping their feet for Toronto!

TFC lost the game 0 - 1. It was SO loud there! But most of all it was really fun. The BMO Field is really big. There were so many people watching the game, and all of them were screaming! Overall, I LOVED watching the game!

Little May

In the green meadows not so far away,
Lives a little kitten by the name of May,
Little May went outside to play,
As she went, she saw a butterfly,
But as May reached out her paw to catch it,
The butterfly told her,
Do not catch me,
For I am the Key to the Golden Fortress,
And if you take me,
The Golden Fortress will turn into garden cress!
May did not know what to say,
Go back then, if you are the key,
Save your little city!
So the butterfly flew off,
And Little May,
Felt lonely again,
But in her heart she knew she did the right thing!

Imagination

When I sit in my imagination chair,
I do not see the room I'm in,
But I see a bear!
I fight it and fight it,
Until it admits,
That he is a cake addict!
So I stop fighting and bake a cake,
We eat it all up and shout HOORAY!
But at that moment,
My imagination chair calls,
Who knows?
Maybe this time I'll see a family of narwhals!
Always remember,
That your imagination chair,
Can take you
ANYWHERE!

My Clay Animal Friends

These are my cute clay animals!

This is Bella - the reader. Some say she actually flew out of a book by accident, but that's just a legend. Nobody knows where Bella came from. Also, if you meet her you won't really get to talk to her, because she will be reading one of her books. But, if her friends are in danger, she will run to help!
This is Star. She's a blue whale. At night Star jumps and flips, with the twilight sky shining at her. Star's friends love to watch her evening shows. Maybe you can catch a glimpse of her beauty! If you get to talk to her, Star will never brag about her beautiful shows, which is a good thing! She comes from the Indian Ocean, but when she was travelling she somehow made it all the way to Ontario!

This is Ollie - the polar bear. Ollie is very calm and quiet. His pals used to think he was mute, but no! Ollie reads plenty of books and he was very well educated by his parents. He is very clean, and washes himself once a week. You might think he is ordinary but no again! Since he reads a lot of classic books, Ollie has many ideas for when he faces a problem. Ollie comes from Yukon. So when you need help, call Ollie!

This is Mimi. Mimi LOVES sugar! If you mention sugar beside her, Mimi will run right by you and say  "Sugar? Where? Give me some, please!!!!!!!" Mimi will look so adorable that you will eventually give in. But Mimi is not as bad as you think. She is actually very kind and thoughtful! Once, a tree was falling down and falling on her friends, she ran to them and screamed "Watch out, run!"

Meet Rosetta, cleanest piggy ever seen.If you see Rosetta's home you will be astonished! Her house is so clean, that everything you see is sparkly and shiny. In fact she gets UPSET when there is a crumb on her sofa! Rosetta is always in style! All of her friends come to her when they need advice.Rosetta is also a poet. Some of her poems are One Day in the Woods, I'm Feeling Blue, and Up in the Sky. Everyone just ADORES her!
Meet Marsh [left] and Mellow. They are a husband and wife. They get along SO well! They do everything together! But, everybody knows who to call when there are arguments - Marsh and Mellow. They are true peacemakers. They always help one another but never argue. In fact, some say that the second Marsh and Mellow married, they never argued since.
This is Penny. She loves to play tons of sports. Soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, hockey - you name it! But, when she is not playing sports, she writes poems with Rosetta. They are best friends, although Rosetta hates dirty sneakers!
Let me introduce you to Buddy and Benny! They are brothers. In fact, they look so alike that they play pranks on everyone! Once, they pretended to be one another and actually did it! Both of them learned more about each other.

Well, well, who do we have here? It's Jenny [right] and Nina! They are the quietest friends in the community. They love writing books and everyone loves to read them [especially Bella] . Nina loves coffee, but Jenny adores tea.

Aren't my animals cool?

Bob's Valentine Surprise

On February 14th, Bob went to school, excited because it's Valentine's Day. The teacher told them earlier that a new student would come on February 14th - today.

Bob was excited - he thought the new student would be a boy." Maybe that will be my new best friend!" thought Bob. He imagined himself playing games with the new student. DING DING DING! The students lined up beside their classroom door. " ... and that's all for today Marie." That's when it hit him - " The new student is a GIRL!?" thought Bob.

3 Cool Facts

Did you know...

1. That an elephant brings luck through his trunk if you put him on the windowsill?

2. That a shell can give you luck in your travels?

3.That OK stands for 0 killed? It's because in the war, when the soldiers came back home and none of them are killed, then on their tanks they would write OK and that means that everything is good. But, people started using OK very often and it lost it's true meaning - 0 killed.

Now, I bet that you did not know any of those facts!  😉

Skiing!

On Friday February 23, my school and I went on a skiing trip.

At first, we had to do some special lessons to see how we ski. To ski on a big hill, we have to have special stickers which are green stickers, blue stickers, and orange stickers. Orange is advanced level and green is beginner level. I got  a green sticker and so did Elizabeth.

We skied together.

When we were skiing down (to get to the chairlift) I fell! It felt like going through different dimensions! It happened 2 times in a row. On the second time, a boy in grade 5 helped me get up. I'm really thankful.

Next time, when you go skiing, make sure you don't get a 'dimension ride'!
